President, People Working Cooperatively
As President of Greater Cincinnati’s only non-profit organization to provide critical home repair, energy conservation and modification services to low-income, elderly and disabled residents, Jock Pitts has spent more than two decades creating and managing energy conservation and home repair programs. In all cases, his goal remains the same: serving the needs of clients while still providing a high return on investment for donors and the community.
Under his leadership, People Working Cooperatively (PWC) earned the 2009 Non Profit of the Year Award from the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, the 2010 Xavier University of Cincinnati’s Launch a Business award, the 2011 & 2012 Top Places to Work from the Enquirer Media, and the 2016 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. PWC has grown from providing 2,000 total services in 1987 to averaging 10,000 services every year.
Jock earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics from Miami University of Ohio, and an MBA in Environmental Pollution Control from Pennsylvania State University.
Jock also serves on the boards for several other organizations.
