Caitlin McCall

Master of Textiles Graduate, NC State Wilson College of Textiles

Caitlin received her Masters of Textiles in the discipline of Textile and Apparel, Technology and Management from NC State Wilson College of Textiles in 2018, and earned her B.S. in Fashion Design from the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati in 2015. While there, she gained a passion for sustainable and slow fashion- informed by her internships with small brands Azhand Shokohi and Crystal B. Designs. In December 2017, McCall was invited to present her closed-loop recyclable “fast-fashion” collection during Wuhan International Fashion Week in a competition sponsored by Wuhan Textile University. Dr. Cynthia L. Istook put McCall’s name forward for the competition, facilitated by a connection with Dr. Yingjiao Xu.
